10,000 BC

D'Leh is a fairly subpar mammoth hunter in the ranks of the Yagahl tribe. Which means he'll probably never win the hand of the beautiful and sought-after Evolet. But he's upright and brave, and when Evolet is kidnapped by evil interlopers, he's the first to run after her. And neither cold nor heat nor saber-toothed tigers nor man-eating ostriches will stop him from completing his quest. 10,000 BC is filled with violent spear fights and giant vicious critters. But it's also a popcorn action flick that focuses on the deeds of an ethical and moral — albeit pre-Christian — hero.
